Even in California, mid-November is late enough to feel that full accent of Autumn in every corner. Walking on the beach you no longer see the overwhelming sunlight that almost blinds your eyes. Instead, it slowly fills the air with a sense of still warm but rather dense and sticky aura wrapping around the entire landscape. All of sudden you find yourself having to make a small extra effort for each breath you take.
A sunset at the ocean with receding tide particularly make me feel moody. Perhaps for that reason I got myself instantly wet the moment I walked down the sandy ground. It feels like a spell – the kind of magic that turns every action into a slow motion. I couldn’t remember when is the last time I was here. It sure feels like a long time ago though.
